Elkin Valley Trails Association will dedicate the new Klondike Lake Trail as a ‘Forest Bathing Trail’, NC’s first! The ceremony will start at the Red Barn Tasting Room at 10 AM. There will be a short 1/4 mile hike to the junction of the Klondike Lake and the Grassy Creek trail. After the ribbon cutting, hikers will, with plenty of social distancing, enter the 1/2 mile ‘in and out’ path.
