Born & raised in the foothills of North Carolina he was exposed to music very early in childhood but his musical journey didn’t flourish till the late seventies when he became a founding member of Bluegrass Anonymous. He has performed at many festivals across the Carolinas, Virginia & Tennessee & has even recorded a well received album ‘Bluegrass Frame of Mind’ during his time with the regional act. Randy Carter is influenced by many genres such as bluegrass, country, folk/rock & classic rock that gives his music an eclectic mix. His Americana song writing style expresses relationships, people,& life experiences we can all relate to. Now he is performing as a solo artist to Focus more on songwriting & will be releasing a new CD that also features Randall Couch & Dianna Fallon! Bring a picnic, grab a glass & enjoy the day!
